Most frequent questions and answers
Seal coating is one of the best ways to extend the life of your asphalt. Seal coat creates a barrier to keep moisture from penetrating the asphalt and cracking it. It’s recommended to seal the coat every two to three years to protect your asphalt from the weather.
We work as far east as Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Newman Lake, and all along the Idaho border. To the west we serve Airway Heights, Davenport, and the Medical Lake area. To the south we serve Freeman, Rockford, and the Cheney area. To the north we serve Mead, Chattaroy, and Deer Park area. Call us if you have a an asphalt project and you don’t see your town listed.
Allow 24 to 48 hours for asphalt to fully cure before driving on it.
Good quality asphalt can last 20+ years, but with regular maintenance, it can last as long as 30 years.
Aesthetically, asphalt has a clean beautiful appearance, adding curb appeal which could increase the overall value of your home.
Gravel is durable but has some disadvantages. Gravel can washout and displace as it is driven on. Weed control is another contention with gravel driveways. Dust is also a factor for longer gravel driveways and private roads.
Asphalt, when properly installed, is a solid surface that does not displace or washout. Pre-emergent is sprayed before asphalt is laid down to prevent weeds. And dust is no longer a factor with an asphalt driveway.
